The Sens should make a play for this guy. A proven scorer who can play wing on the first line. The price will be low because Columbus wants him gone. Put him with Spezza, one of the best set up man in the game (in my opinion), and we could have a potential 50 goal scorer. He is younger at 28 and has a long term deal. If the price is right we should make a play. My trade idea: Foligno, 1st or 2nd and a prospect, DeCosta comes to mind.

Foligno needs to go ASAP, dont judge just listen, yes he is a good player but he thinks he is better than he is. Last night some bad turnovers trying to do too much. Most of his goals have come on empty nets. He is a high energy player but there is not shortage of them in the league. He is younger than Ruutu, therefor may command more. Ship the guy off and be done with it. We have a numerous amounts of player that can fit into a bottom six role. Trade him for a top line winger and we go to playoff contender to potential Stanley cup contender.

With Alfredsson leaving :( in the next couple of years our young player could befit from learning from a established scorer. 6 mill of this guy and we have him long term (we have space), we will win huge on a deal that brings this this guy to Ottawa.
