Prospect Watch in Binghamton - Opinions Anyone?

I've been missing Sens hockey so have been trying to keep track of B-Sens. I watched the last game, although I missed the first ten minutes. Here's what I noticed...or a one-game opinion...

Silfverberg looks like he’s going to be very good. He hunts the puck and doesn’t count on anyone else getting it to him. He’s creative with it and looks to be doing everything well.

Biggest surprise of the evening came in a small package. Pageau looked good EVEN on the fourth line. He looked calm to me and was noticeable when on the ice. He had two points with limited ice time. I think DaCosta has someone standing tall in front of him on the depth chart.

Zibanejad. Big, strong, fast... maybe a bit too defensive-minded when playing center, although I would predict he’ll have his points by the end of the season once he strikes a balance between his offense and defense. He looks like a hockey player with a boatload of skill who’s still figuring out the best way to use his talent.

Grant continues to impress and show up on the scoresheet. Big and physical with a scoring touch. If it continues like he is I think he’ll be hard to ignore - possibly - at NHL level. Again, DaCosta’s path to the NHL looks blocked or at least getting crowded.

Not sure why Schneider has been subbed in and out of the lineup as he worked hard, skated well, and looked like he wanted the puck every shift. Richardson had him out there hunting for a hat trick and he was equal to the task. He looked good - accurate shot, quick release and dangerous in the offensive zone.

Stone - I know he gets his points but he didn't stand out in any way – at least in this game. I noticed his number once? I didn’t see the potential in his game tonight and was disappointed. BUT, even while he disappeared he still managed to get an assist. I’ll just call him “the Enigma” if he continues to produce while remaining ghost-like.

Hoffman, Petersson and Prince are speed demons when they have an opportunity to go. Hoffman was the most noticeable of the trio.

Wiercioch, Gryba, Benoit – I’m don’t feel qualified to say much about the defense but they all looked good tonight, used their shooting lanes and found the target. Power play should eventually catch up and produce good numbers.

Would love to hear other fan opinions of our Binghamton prospects - after all I only saw the one game.
