Game 49: Ottawa Senators @ San Jose Sharks
Ottawa Senators at San Jose Sharks, Jan 19, 2012 10:30 PM EST
Please note: Unfortunately, due to legal concerns, posting or advertising links to unregulated online streams of this game is not allowed. Any links posted will be deleted.
A late one tonight, so a cookie to those of you that stay up until 1 a.m. for the end of this game. The Senators will start a four game swing through western America in San Jose tonight. The big news of the day is that Mark Borowiecki will make his NHL debut. That is the only change, with Craig Anderson starting again. The forward lines remain the same as well, here they are from Ian Mendes.
Craig Anderson (starter)
More after the jump.
Here are something to look out for tonight:
- Borowiecki debut: First NHL game for Borowiecki, how will he fare? It will be interesting to note how much ice time he gets and whether he sees any penalty kill time in his first game.
- Tired team: The Senators may be winning, but they are not playing well. Having played on back-to-back nights, and then having only one day off before a game in the pacific time zone, the Senators might not have their skating legs tonight.
- Michalek back to San Jose: This will be Milan Michalek's second game back in San Jose since his trade. He scored two goals in a loss the last time, can he repeat the scoring feat?
- Jumping in the standings: As of the time of writing, both Boston and Philadelphia are losing. Ottawa can pass both clubs with a win should scores hold.
- Craig Anderson: How long can he keep this up? The man has been unreal for about three weeks.

Doesn’t mean you can’t say it, Mark.
Fuck Dany Heatley!

Personally I was rooting for another 4 goal game from Heatley in Toronto. It would be like saying sorry.

Looking at the score of the game he will need to score those 4 goals in the next 13 minutes.

This is a misconception
The U.S. government does not have the authority to shut down sites on servers not hosted in the U.S. SOPA and PIPA would require ISPs to block any site deemed to be illegal, and require web sites to police themselves for content.
It’s censorship, but the sites will still be out there.

Crazy Ottawa connections for the All-Star Game
Obviously the 4 voted in, Chara, Hossa, Elliott, but add Couture who played for the 67s and Claude Julien, who’s from the area I believe.
Who’s the other coach? It’d be great if it was Vigneault, not just for the Bruins/Canucks rivalry, but because it’d be great to have him around for Ottawa’s 20th anniversary.

Last I remember was mainly h.264
Back when I edited I was sourcing off of Betacam for the most part… the big houses used D1 and D3… so many formats have come out for digital it was hard to keep track.
Hope the premiere goes well for ya…
by Audioscapist on Jan 20, 2012 12:55 AM EST up reply actions
h.264 is pretty common
But it’s highly compressed. Can’t do much with it. So it’s used for the final product. An h.264 is one of the final outputs for this project, but we try not to use it for editing. Emphasis on try.
