Name on the back of the Jersey

The other day at the mall, I saw someone wearing a Sens t-shirt. The thing that caught my eye was the back: Kuba 17. This struck me as odd. I don't know why. I guess it's been awhile since the last time I was at Scotiabank Place in the sea of red. And I guess I really haven't seen many Filip Kuba jerseys around either (don't worry, this isn't a "trade Kuba" post). Usually, I see lots of Daniel Alfredsson's #11 or Jason Spezza's #19 rather than the players a little farther down on the depth chart. I started wondering how many jersey sales other players get...

This brings me to my question: Who's name will be on the back of your Sens jersey or t-shirt this upcoming season (ie your favourite, or the one you'd wear the most often if you have more than one)? If you have an interesting reason behind it, tell us in the comments!

No other option is acceptable to me. I’d pick Z. Smith or Megalinski for someone else, though.

Karlsson!

I will likely wear Karlsson the most, followed by Spezza. I haven’t worn Volchenkov since he left, nor have I worn Alfredsson since the logo changed.

I still have one of the old home jerseys (from back when the Sens played their white jersey at home), and it is blank. I’m not buying a new one any time soon.

Its not that we don’t appreciate Spezza, its that we LOVE Alfie. Jason has been earning a place in our hearts and his time will come soon enough.

I want to get a Butler one, but I feel like that is jumping in a little too soon. Give him another year. Plus I know he liked to wear 12 before, so what if he switches? I would like like a FOOL I TELLS YA, A FOOOOOL!!!!

I don’t have a single Sens jersey yet, so I’m thinking I will pick up one of the new Heritage ones, and I will likely go with Alfie. In a few years when/if Spezza becomes captain, I will probably pick up one then. :D

It's Drago for me.

I want a Robin Lehner jersey even though he’s not in the nhl yet. I have to say I hope he doesn’t completely moderate his comments when he gets to this level, as I would love to have someone with the mouth of a Roenick on the Sens.

I always put my own name

but it’s my girlfriends pet name for me and the number on the back changes year to year based on the number of assists I get in my men’s league the previous season.

It’s been as high as 33 before so I felt like a goalie that year.
