Hey y'all. As the expression goes, long time reader, first time contributor here.

With the Sens season officially relegated to Tanksville, I can't help but speculate about next year's roster and the slow road to regaining respectability. The final 20 or so games are obviously going to serve as a kind of extended try-out session, and there are clearly a few prospects in the pipeline that seem bound to make the 2011-12 squad (Rundblad, Cowen, Lehner, etc).  I'm just curious to see how other people imagine next year's line-up shaping up, and particularly where you see the most obvious holes to be filled for Murray or (fingers crossed) his successor. To get the ball rolling, here's my entirely hypothetical two cents based on players actually on the team or in the system.

Michalek - Spezza - Butler

Silfverberg* - Regin - Alfredsson
