Those are pretty blah jerseys. I had already pictured him wearing the navy and gold in my head, so this just kinda throws me.

As I suspected, he adds a couple things that the Preds lacked:

-Net presence. Hornqvist does this, barely anyone else. Once in a while we’ll see it from Joel Ward.
-Faceoff wins. Holy crap 12 for 16. Jerred Smithson (yeah, who?) is our best faceoff guy normally.
-Heart/toughness. Can stick up for players (like Hornqvist) and keeps the tempo and morale up. We have a couple players that fall into a comfort zone and will get pass happy or not work as hard.

We definitely like what he brings to the team. And for once, Peks didn’t have to win the game for us!

Nope

We may want the Preds to struggle so we can get a better draft pick, but I don’t understand how anyone could root against Fisher. He deserves success as the fruits of his labor.
