First off I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays too.

I have always been passionate about the international flair our game brings and I find it disappointing that we have to wait every 4 years to see a true best on best tournament or in turn find out who the best of the best is. So in the spirit of the upcoming WJC I was hoping to share what I thought the rosters for a fantasy 2012 Olympics would look like.

A few notes:

-I have little to no knowledge of leagues other than the NHL so I will not be selecting any players from anywhere else.

-This being said I will only be making rosters for the big six ( Czech, Finland, Russia, USA, Sweden, Canada).

-I will ignore injuries and assume everyone is 100% healthy for my fantasy games.

-The biases I hold are for the Sens and against the Leafs I will do my best to suppress them.

So if any of you are interested in this kind of discussion I would certainly love to hear from you. I would be posting a roster every few days and leave it open for discussion
