Will Chris Prongers' Injury be a Boon to the Sens?

So with the news that Chris Pronger is out for the season and the playoffs with severe post-concussion symptoms, pundits are already talking about the trade value of Gonchar and Kuba having gone up. Marc Crawford tweeted that If he was in charge of the Flyers he would have immediately traded for Gonchar https://twitter.com/#!/TsnMarcCrawford .

With this in mind, do you think that a) the trade market for Kuba and Gonchar will heat up once they're back from injury? ; and b) the SENS could get a significant return for either or both?

Last year at the deadline the Leafs traded Kaberle for a projected #2 Center in Colborne, a 1st rd and a 2nd rnd pick. I don't think that anyone (excepting perhaps in Toronto) would argue that Kaberle is a better offensive or defensive defenseman than Gonchar, even with the age difference.

I imagine that the final year remaining on Gonchars' contract may prove a bit of a stumbling block for some teams, but will it for the deeper pocket teams that are in need of a defenceman of Gonchar or Kubas' calibre? Especially with teams like NYR and PHI in playoff spots and looking to make runs, albeit without the likes of Staal and Pronger?

Crawford "suggested" that maybe we could get a good young player like Brayden Shenn back in the deal, rather than 1st or 2nd round picks. What do you guys think? Given our lack of size and skill (together) down the middle, I'd be ecstatic to get someone like Schenn, but I think the minimum we should be expecting would be a 1st round pick.
