TMZ: Jason Bailey suing Anaheim Ducks
TMZ is reporting that Jason Bailey is suing the Anaheim Ducks, the team that selected him in the third round of the NHL Entry Draft in 2005. The suit is based on anti-Semitic remarks allegedly made by coaches of the Bakersfield Condors (the Ducks' ECHL affiliate).
Bailey is in his second year with the Binghamton Senators. In 79 games over the past two seasons with the BSens, he has 6 goals, 1 assist, and 89 penalty minutes.
Update: Puck Daddy has good coverage on the story, including something TMZ doesn't mention -- it appears that in 2009, the Condors' coaches were suspended because of the derogatory remarks made to Bailey.
