Ask Anton 2
Editor's Note: Silver Seven is pleased to bring to your attention the second opportunity for our readers to "Ask Anton." Mysterious and cryptic user Anton24 -- who is not one of the writers here, honestly -- has kindly offered to answer any questions you may have, but this opportunity only arises once each week. If you missed the first Q&A, you can find it here.
Greetings, Silver Sevens. Now you know I am man of my word. If you miss last time, I have gentlemens agreement with Bryan: answer fan questions for one year every week. Ottawa fans are best fans and Silver Sevens is best site, so it is here that I come. Last time was great fun. This time will also be. This was great idea. OK, no more talk. You will ask and I will answer. Begin!

If you played in the '72 Summit Series, would the result have been different?
Silver Seven: the Daniel Alfredsson of Ottawa Senators blogs.
DarrenM, thanks for question.
1972 summit series. You are either hockey scholar or dbag. Mike taught me this word. I cannot decide. But I will answer anyway.
Early games show Soviet team much superior to Canada team in all aspects. Is truth Soviets would win if the Clarke did not attack Kharlamov. This I cannot respect. Soviet team also missing Firsov and Davydov. Team did not need my help, just fair play. This, they did not get. But past is past. I do not understand why Henderson was not covered. Front of the net for rebounds is not allowed. If I were there I would destroy. So to answer question, yes, result would be much different. Soviets would have won as easily as going through Fulda Gap.

dzuunmod, thanks for question.
Wish that I had answer for you. When I was child, I ask мать this. She say to me, “Follow heart. That way, no regrets.” Best advice. Also, out on hunting trip I ask Alexei, and he says exact same thing. Only second time ever happen. First was advice for school bully. “Never back down.” Life Lesson. Bully learn well.
West women are trash. Sorry, is true. Cannot even make borscht! Funny story. True story. In Bingo we have just lost. No one is happy. Jason says we will go to cabo and rent boat. Will help. We go. Rent boat, find girls. Dumb girls, cannot hold vodka. Anyway, is not helping. We are all still mad. Start betting on who can get girls to do dumbest thing. I tell girl to pee off side of boat. She does! Jason laughs. Jason knocks girl off boat by accident. We all laugh. Sail away. This is not a girl to marry. Remember this.
Anton,
I can probably make a mean borscht for miya geroy – Ty and you would love it. You would want to come and have borscht every night. I can have two drinks of vodka and the taste is just heaven without dropping it :D. Slava Rossiya :D
Hi Anton
Is it still acceptable for me to wear your Senators jersey or should I some how have #24 replaced with #65 and Karlsson?
Adnan, thanks for question.
I am glad you ask. Why do you want to wear Anton’s jersey? Are you not man? Are you not Adnan? Why do you want to be Anton? You could not live Anton’s life. Anton’s life is hard. Many people will try to staredown. You do not want this. You must be own man. Do not live in shadow of others.
Also, I will tell you true story of Erik. This just happen. He is great d but cannot staredown goldfish! Party at Daniel’s. Everyone is saying staredown this staredown that, so I do. Erik says he will do too. Everyone laughs. He staredowns cat, Muschi. Cat attacks. Everyone laughs. Erik says his is tough, will prove. Next game hits #17, hurts shoulder. True story.
Anton,
Greatest Russian female tennis player.. Who is it?
by LeTigre on Sep 29, 2010 2:36 PM EDT via mobile reply actions
LeTigre, thanks for question.
I know you are thinking I will say Kournikova because she is beautiful. But I will not. For some reason, Russian women cannot sustain. I do not know why this is. Sharapova is good, but I like Safina. Very talented. Must stay healthy. If she can do, she will be greatest. I have no funny tennis stories. Apologies.
Привет Антон
Не хочу ничего спрашивать а просто желаю тебе отличного сезона на новом месте. Спасибо за твою игру у Сенаторов. Жена моя A-Train Jersey будет продолжать носить
Hi Anton
If you and I got locked into a staredown, what advice would you give me?
Silver Seven - The Daniel Alfredsson of Ottawa Senators Blogs

Приветствие мощный русских оборонительных человек.
Где я могу найти лучшие борщи в Оттаве, и как вы блока выстрел в лицо и оставаться такой красивой?
Oman, thanks for question.
Avant-garde is Russia owned. But if you want good borscht, you learn to make yourself, yes? Also, I am not pretty man, everyone knows, but thanks for saying this.
Anton
You can block a hundred shots with your face and you would still be attractive. After all bruises and scars are your badges of honour:D p.s I hope you are doing well and Ottawa really needs you badly.p.s.s I still wear my A-Train jersey with pride and think of you every time I wear you (symbolically of course) through my Volchy jersey

Hi Anton
I’d like to hear more about this ‘hunting incident’ with Chris Phillips. Will you please tell us a bit about it?

Peter Raaymakers, thanks for question.
I would not like to, but I am man of my word, so I will answer your question. Jay will not like this.
Chris has good staredown. Enough for respect. But not as good as me. He asks how I learn. I tell how my father taught me. He does not believe. Says show me. So I say we will go to Kamchatka for hunting and I will show. He says no, that is too far. So we go to Katmai instead. We hunt. Find grizzly. Throw rocks. Bear charges. I stare. Bear leaves. He does not believe. I say now you. He says no, but I throw rocks anyway. Bear charges. He stares. Nothing. He has family, so I must fight bear. Slap bear in face, stare HARD. Bear leaves.
Later, walking back to camp. He says must piss. I wait. Men with guns show. They are poachers. Scum. Staredown, but they will not. Cowards. Point guns, say saw you with bears before. They say I will help them. I say I will not. Respect bears, not poachers. They go to shoot but Chris bursts from trees. Tackles ALL men. Very impressive. Respect. Big fight. Cannot say more, but bears ate well that night. Bonding trip.
