London Rookie Camp, Game 2: Ottawa Senators vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Next Game

Ottawa Senators
@ Chicago Blackhawks

Sunday, September 12, 2010, 2:00 p.m.
John Labatt Centre, London

TV: Rogers 22, Radio: TEAM 1200

The second Senators game in the Toronto Maple Leafs-hosted London rookie tournament takes place this afternoon, against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Hawks played the Leafs last night, and lost 6-3, putting them and the Sens rookies at the same spot in the standings.

Not sure what the lines will be today, but they'll likely be similar to last night. Look for Mike Hoffman and Bobby Butler to stay on the same line, though; they had some immediate chemistry yesterday afternoon.

Foote is confusing

He has a GAA of 3.07 last year but went 20-8-1.

He's never had a GAA below 3, even in the OPJHL

Plus his save percentage was .913 last year.

Alright, I'm out

I don’t feel like listening to the game. I’ll try and watch the tape-delay. Go Sens!

David Typo!

Good to see he has no rust after destroying Grant.

Poor Grant. Not sure I like DD playing right after injuring him.

He's a physical guy

I can understand why he was looking to make a big statement on his first shift in a pro jersey. It’s no excuse for the dangerous hit he threw—luckily Grant’s only got a broken wrist and some shiplash—but it explains it. And he served his game, lesson learned.
