Who would you like to see replace Garry Galley?
Since 2006, Garry Galley has been the booth analyst alongside play-by-play man Dean Brown on Rogers Sportsnet Senators broadcasts. Galley recently announced he was leaving that position to focus solely on Hockey Night in Canada and have more time at home. Who would you like to see replace him?
The obvious candidates are Gord Wilson and Shaun Van Allen who have both done significant radio work on the Team 1200's broadcasts. Is there anyone else out there in the running? If you could have your choice, who would you pair with Dean?

I can’t see anyone being better than Gord Wilson. Dave Morissette, though he can sometimes be like ray-ee-ain on your wedding day. Not ironic – just annoying.
Maybe some new guy? What’s Ray Emery up to? He was always more clourful than Weekes on the ice, so I’d give him a call.

I think Peter Raaymakers would be an excellent addition to any broadcasting team.

I'd disagree
I’ve never heard of the guy.

I agree. She'd be great
I saw her work a Leafs game a couple of years ago and she really knew her stuff, although she is a bit of a homer announcer.
If you can’t see the video, here’s a transcript:
Joe Bowen: Lee Stempniak and Bruno Gervais throwing punches, and uh, Gervais is going to get a penalty here for hitting Stempniak into the boards …. and down go both players.
Lady Gaga: Can’t Lee fight, can’t Lee fight, can’t Lee fight Bruno Ger-vace? P-p-p-punch Gervace, p-p-punch Gervace.
[I don’t know what is more sad. The actual joke itself, or the fact that it took me about 12 minutes to compile it ]

How about the recently retired Aaron Ward?
I think he lives in Ottawa

Good one
I remember him doing colour or analysis or something last year and he was very comfortable at it.
