I’ve got a chart of every team’s goalie success rates, a bunch of pie charts that I can’t remember the details of, and a ton of hand-written notes. Columbus, for instance, is brutal at drafting centres. Brassard is the best of the bunch, but the only other guys to play more than a handful of games are Andrew Murray, Jared Boll, and Dan Fritsche.
Calgary has, if I remember correctly without checking my notes, drafted one centre to play more than 24 games in the last decade (it’s Dustin Boyd).
Washington has drafted 11 defencemen in the first round since 1992. Ottawa, Detroit, and (I think) Buffalo are all second with 8.
