Filip Kuba could be out for the season
Filip Kuba's back injury is not healing as trainers thought it would, and he may be done for the season. He may be ready for the start of the playoffs, but it doesn't sound good.
Milan Michalek, on the other hand, is healing nicely and might even play on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers.

They wreak havoc on Ottawa Senators players representing the Czech Republic.

i doubt it.
a season ending injury makes trading him harder.

We'll see about that
We’d all like it, but if Volchenkov isn’t re-signed, who knows what will happen?

I'm not too sad about Kuba..
One question though:
Where do you see Michalek in the line-up?
You just can’t bump Regin off the top line right now, he’s way too hot. He has developed more chemistry with Spezza in the last 6 games or so than Michalek has all season.
So there’s likely two options: Put him with Fisher and Kovalev or with Kelly and Neil.
Both have their pros and cons:
Milan might have the same chemistry issues with Kovy as he had with Spezza. They are similar players.
But, he and Fisher would have a ball using their speed and grit to crash the net, with Kovy getting the puck to then.
Michalek is a turnover machine: he often overskates on his rushes, turning over the puck. This has resulted in a -11 rating for plus/minus. Kovalev is also known for turnovers as he often tries to do too much with the puck.
On the other hand, Kelly and Neil would always have his back defensively, giving him more freedom.
Michalek’s game is also closer to Ruutu’s than that of Cullen, so he might fit on the Two Chris’s line better.
What do you guys think?
