Thank goodness they clarified that it wasn't a scientific poll.

What do you have against Not Martin?

hahaha, nothing! I hope he continues to do well, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to announce that this AHL call-up is the team’s number 1 after two games.

How about after 3 games?

hold up
Id like to believe in fairy tales and the second coming of whatever, but that would make me a delirious leaf fan. ;)
I was very thrilled with the two games that M Brodeur had, but its only 2 games. I would need a much larger sample before committing to his bandwaggon.
That being said, if he goes on a run, it would give us hope!
Yeah, it's a little early to anoint him number one
He’s got a week to really make some shit happen, because that’s when Leclaire is back. This poll is ridiculous right now (and it’s crazy to think 58% think he should be named number one), but maybe it’s something to re-visit next week, when Leclaire is back. If he runs the table with numbers like he has now, awesome, but if he falls back to Earth, let him continue to develop in the AHL and we can give him another shot in training camp next season.

Don't rag on CTV Ottawa...
…I mean, hey, it’s not like they were making the case two minutes ago that Elliott/Leclaire is the worst goaltending tandem in franchise history.
We asked the question, didn't make the case!
I think it’s obvious they’re not the worst tandem the Senators have had, but the point of the post was to demonstrate that they are playing like the worst tandem the Senators have ever had, or at least—statistically speaking—they look awful.
It’s also worth noting that the post was probably as much a criticism on the Senators’ defence corps as it was one on the goaltanders themselves.

As Peter's saying
that was the title, but I stated in the article that I didn’t think they were the worst tandem of all time. However, their numbers right now are the worst of any Senators goalie tandem, so it’s a question worth asking.

There’ll be plenty of time to shit on Elliott later but right now he’s the most proven ’tendy, though I do agree that Brodeur should get another shot, probably St. Louis but the Habs are the other easy matchup – its a toss-up for me
Cannot play with 'em, cannot win with 'em, cannot coach with 'em. Cant do it.
Brodeur will play against the Habs
according the The Sun. He deserves the start, he was good last night. But our defense played much better than they have lately. It’s like they knew he might need help. If they’d help out Leclaire and Elliott like that both of them would look a lot better.
