ESPN Claims Heatley Traded, Murray, TSN Deny It
Update 2: TSN is now stating that there never was a deal in place.
Update: Senators GM Bryan Murray has told ESPN "It's simply not true. I've had conversations with teams today but still I'm not close to a deal [involving Heatley]."
That's a very strong denial, so consider this rumour quashed unless it rears its ugly head again in the future.
----
ESPN is claiming that Bruce Garrioch's morning rumour has become a reality: that Dany Heatley has been traded to the San Jose Sharks. The Senators receive Alexander Frolov and Jarret Stoll from the LA Kings, while the Kings get Patrick Marleau from the Sharks.
REMINDER: THIS IS UNCONFIRMED. The teams involved are currently denying that this has happened, and it has not been reported by TSN. We will keep you posted on it, and will give a full analysis if the trade officially goes down.

This is such torture
Deal’s done, deal’s not done, deal’s done, deal’s not done, deal might be done, deal’s done, deal’s not done, deal’s done, deal’s not done, deal might be done, and so on.

UGH
I was such a fan of this deal, too. Frolov would be money in the East. Hopefully they’re keeping it on the down low until all details are finalized and it’s really true, but… I doubt it.
ESPN’s John Buccigross still maintains that this deal is pretty much a done deal (as in true), but we’ll see if it is…

I wouldn't be surprised, but it'd be great to be hearing that from an additional source
rather than the same one who put his balls on the line in the first place.
