Alex Auld Traded
Goaltender Alex Auld has been traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
This move clears out some cap space to be used to resign goaltender Brian Elliott, who is expected to back up Pascal Leclaire for the 2009-2010 season.
