Brian McGrattan, one-time muscle of the Ottawa Senators, was signed by the Calgary Flames on Saturday. Although fans of the Flames, at least those on Matchsticks and Gasoline, weren't happy with the signing, Grats is the kind of player who'll endear himself to fans. After coming out of the NHLPA's substance abuse program a few months ago, here's wishing him good luck.

I was at his last game here in Phoenix… I cheered like a berzerk schoolgirl when he dropped the gloves with Parros. I wanted him to beat the crap out of him as revenge for the Finals. Instead, he got hurt. :( God, I hate the Ducks.
