On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, the Florida Panthers will play host to the Ottawa Senators in Halifax, Nova Scotia for an NHL pre-season game.
This will not the first time the Senators have played in Nova Scotia - it will be the seventh (six times in Halifax, once in Truro for Kraft Hockeyville). They currently have a less-than-stellar 1-3-1 record in Halifax, with that tie coming against the Panthers back in 2001. Their sole win? Beating the Maple Leafs 3-2 in 2006.
