The Hockey Writers offer a look at the twenty most disappointing performances of the 2008/09 regular season, including our two Mikes, Fisher and  Comrie. One has to wonder if the off-ice distractions have been a factor (kind of a hockey version of the Jessica Simpson curse, I guess).

The Ottawa Sun, on the other hand, takes a look at the players Ottawa already has with a 08/09 report card. It also makes a very surface-level cost-benefit analysis of having a stadium like Scotiabank Place in town. An impressive figure: the stadium has apparently received $37 million in tax relief in the last eight years.
