Cory Clouston with "some winning strategies" for sober driving. Before Leafs fans start to poke fun, here's Ron Wilson doing the same ad for the same great cause.

Okay, let's get real for a second...

Maybe they MTO could have given him a little more to work with here. Maybe don’t have him in his practice outfit; have him in a game day suit. They could have had him at a better backdrop than the bland grey one… is there any reason it couldn’t be filmed on the ice?

In all honesty, though, he’s not an actor, and good on him (and good on Wilson) for doing a commercial for, like you said, a great cause.

That doesn’t make it any less hilarious.

Personally, I like it.

Well, I like it better than the even more hilarious and cheesy commercial that used to get played. That thing is downright cringe-worthy. Plus, these commercials with the coaches will probably be more effective with certain demographics.

Man, now I have that song stuck in my head.

How pissed would you be if you showed up at a bar and those guys were the house band

Cannot play with 'em, cannot win with 'em, cannot coach with 'em. Cant do it.

It’d really kill my buzz.
